The New Year Scoreboard · Session 2 of 5 · February 2027
The Decide Room
Cut what you will not carry forward
February 2027, evening EAT, confirmed on registration
A seat is KES 3,000 per session, about USD 23, rising to KES 4,000 one week before each class.
The scoreboard most leaders keep
A fresh slate of goals stacked on last year's unfinished load.
The one this room installs
Deliberate subtraction: what you chose not to carry into the year, and the room it made for what matters.
The question this room answers
What from last year are you carrying forward that you have already decided to stop?
What the room covers
- The cost of new goals stacked on an unresolved load
- What genuine subtraction looks like at the start of a year
- Which commitments from last year belong in this one and which do not
- Standards as permanent architecture versus annual intentions
- What it means to enter a year light
The exercise
Name every goal, commitment, or standard from last year that you are not carrying forward. Write the cut list, with one sentence on what each is and the date you stopped carrying it. Sign it.
What you walk out with
Walk out with a written cut list: the goals, commitments and standards from last year you will formally stop carrying, each decided and named.
You leave with your written cut list.
You do not need the earlier rooms. Walk in this month, and leave with your written cut list.
You become the leader who enters a year light, known for what you protect rather than what you pile on.
